There are places that stay with you forever.
For me, Cambridge is one of them.
Cambridge always reminded me why I chose science and innovation as my path. I loved the atmosphere, the conversations with students, the ambitious ideas, and the energy of people who truly believed they could change the world through creativity and knowledge.
I often spoke with young researchers and entrepreneurs there. They had passion, curiosity, and bold dreams. Many wanted to create technologies that could improve lives and help the planet. But at the same time, I knew how difficult the journey from scientific discovery to real-world implementation could be.
Over the years, working across European academia, startups, and industry, I repeatedly saw the same challenge: brilliant ideas struggling to move beyond research and reach commercialisation.
And somewhere in Cambridge, during one of those conversations and reflections, the idea for ClearGate was born.
I wanted to bring together practical innovation thinking, industry experience, and people who shared a similar vision. The goal was simple — to help build a stronger bridge between science and industry and equip innovators with better tools to navigate the path from discovery to commercialisation.
This is only the beginning.
But every meaningful innovation journey starts with an idea, a conversation, and people willing to believe in change.
